Take a Step in the Write Direction: Publishing a First Book of Poetry: The Business Side of Getting into Print

If you are serious about writing poetry, you might be thinking about getting your words into print. Author Linda Annas Ferguson will share her experiences in working with four different publishers. Topics include contests, fees and expenses, independent publishers, university presses, permissions, cover art, photography, acknowledgments, blurbs, proofreading and being proactive with the creation and marketing of your book. Participants will be provided with resource materials, including a list of presses.
